Pirouette for Dutch Polymer Institute

The Dutch Polymer Institute (DPI) was established in 1997 as a public-private partnership to perform pre-competitive research into polymers and their application, linking scientific knowledge to the industrial need for innovation.

In cooperation with the TU/e and IME Technologies, the Dutch Polymer Institute and DSM initiated a research project on the molding of thin-wall structures and material characterization at high cooling rates. In December 2010 IME Technologies delivered a Pirouette PVT apparatus to DPI to facilitate the experimental work in this project.
